Kentucky's Rising Star Talent Contest

Our new Kentucky's Rising Star talent competition if a fun, low pressure way to put your skills on stage! Gain experience in front of a live audience, get valuable feedback, and possibly even win the title, Kentucky's Rising Star!

What you need to know:

• You do not have to be entered in the pageant to compete for the talent title.

• This is a talent competition, not a pageant.

• This competition has no bearing on the overall results of the pageant.

• A piano, microphone and microphone stand are provided.

• The floor surface is hardwood (theater stage.)

• Divisional winners will receive a tiara and commemorative award.

• Daily Overall winners will receive an additional cash prize (*based on total number of entries.)

• Time limit is 2 minutes.

• If entrant is competing in the Kentucky's Miss Pageant, you will be in gown for the awards ceremony. If you are not competing in the pageant, you are welcome to wear your talent costume/attire, or the outfit of your choice.

• Judging is based on overall impression, entertainment value, stage presence, and execution of any technical elements of the performance.

 

AGE DIVISIONS

Tiny Miss, Ages 3-5

Little Miss, Ages 6-7

Petite Miss, Ages 8-9

Young Miss, Ages 10-11 

Junior Miss, Ages 12-14

Teen Miss, Ages 15-18

Miss, Ages 19-24

25 and up

Ages 3-11 compete on Saturday, March 9th.

Ages 12 and up compete on Sunday, March 10th.
